Las Doñas del Sur: Cultural Pride and Innovation Comes to South Corvallis

We are very proud to share the news that a food truck pod is coming to South Corvallis. Founded through the City of Corvallis South Corvallis Food Hub grant, nine Latinx entrepreneurs came together to establish a food truck pod. The collective -Las Doñas del Sur- will offer Corvallis a taste of the culinary and cultural wealth that characterizes Latin America, with a particular emphasis on a variety of dishes from different states in Mexico, Venezuela, and countries in South America. The Las Doñas del Sur Collective will also be a place for sharing art, tradition, and culture, as well as a space for providing educational services for the larger Corvallis community. The successful application to the City of Corvallis Food Hub grant was possible through collaboration between the Las Doñas del Sur Collective, the Small Business Development Center, and ANDARES through its Executive Director, Ricardo Contreras.
